Or at least, on TV.
Warner Brothers Entertainment CEO Kevin Tsujihara is kind of a big deal so when he talks, Hollywood listens.
Over the weekend, Tsujihara gave a keynote interview during which he touched on Warner’s track record of superhero adaptations. He was less than effusive.
He admitted that beyond their Batman and Superman behemoths, the studio’s superhero franchises had been “a missed opportunity”.
He did however confirm that Warner Bros had: "…huge plans for a number of other DC properties on TV."
Though when it came to Wonder Woman, he was far more specific: "We need to get Wonder Woman on the big screen or TV."
‘Need’ doesn’t necessarily mean ‘currently planning’, but it does at least prove that Warner Bros appreciate that with Marvel’s movies having stolen a march on them, one of their most familiar characters needs an outlet somewhere.
And as soon as possible. What would a Wonder Woman project look like? Perhaps something like the impressive fan-made trailer from Rainfall Films below?
