Easy A director Will Gluck is rumoured to be in talks to direct an upcoming adaptation of Ben Mezrich's books Sex On The Moon.
Mezrich is the man who wrote The Accidental Billionaires, the book upon which The Social Network was based.
The Social Network producers Scott Rudin, Michael De Luca and Dana Brunetti had previously announced that they would re-team to produce the adaptation for Sony and now the project appears to be gathering pace, with Gluck widely tipped to take over the reigns.
The book tells the comically true story of Thad Roberts, a NASA employee who stole actual pieces of the moon from the US space agency and sold them on the Internet so that he could impress his girlfriend.
There's no information about casting, or when shooting might begin. But don't expect to see camera rolling just yet as Gluck is currently working on the publicity for his casual sex flick Friends With Benefits which lands this summer and has plans to join forces with Emma Stone again for an upcoming project called Rehab.
