With The Karate Kid remake's success, it's unsurprising to hear that a sequel is already in the works.
And even better, it looks like the writers of Kung Fu Panda will be taking the reigns.
Cyrus Vois and Ethan Reiff, who have also written the original version of Ridley Scott's Robin Hood, have been hired to write the continuing chop-sockey adventures of Jaden Smith's Dre Parker and his Kung Fu mentor Mr Han.
There's no mention as to whether any geese or wise-cracking Red Pandas will be involved.
While there's no official word on the 2013 sequel's plot, fans can turn to the original's sequel for inspiration in the hope that Dre may travel back to Mr Han's birthplace to get in touch with his inner Fu.
