If your family insists on getting kidnapped whenever they go overseas, you're going to need a particular set of skills.

Luckily, as previously demonstrated when his daughter Kim got snatched on a trip to Paris, nobody's skills come more particular than ex-CIA security expert Bryan Mills.

Unfortunately, that's why Bryan and his ex-wife Lenore (Janssen) find themselves beaten, bagged and bound in a part of Istanbul you won't see in many tourist guides.

See, one of the (now deceased) guys who tried to turn Kim into a sex slave was the son of Murad (Rade Serbedzija, here helpfully credited as Sherbedgia), an Albanian mobster with a massive forgiveness deficit.

Thus when Bryan invites Lenore and Kim (Grace, playing 19 but pushing 30) to join him in Turkey for a bit of estranged family bonding, it's a golden opportunity for Murad to get even. He will have his revenge. Oh yes...
