Director, Mick Garris is synonymous with Stephen King, having adapted a number of the writer’s works over the years including Sleepwalkers and the TV mini-series of The Shining.

2004’s Riding The Bullet, starring Jonathon Jackson and David Arquette, follows death-obsessed young Alan, who is haunted by his overactive imagination after a failed suicide attempt. The film bombed at the box office after receiving a deserved critical panning and holds the unenviable record of the lowest grossing Stephen King adaptation to date, taking a pitiful $134,711 at the US box office.
