Seth Rogen and Joseph Gordon-Levitt re-teaming for Xmas

12 February 2014

The 50/50 team reunite.

Seth Rogen and Joseph Gordon-Levitt are set to join forces once more. Following the critical and commercial success of “cancer comedy” 50/50, the actors will again work with that film’s director, Jonathan Levine, for a new currently untitled Christmas-based comedy.

The film, currently sitting under the powerfully inventive working title of Untitled Xmas Comedy, revolves around three best friends whose annual tradition is to go out on the town in New York City on Christmas Eve.

A third lead actor is still to be cast.

The script, which is also written by Levine, sparked a bidding war; Sony ultimately won out.

The film is being fast-tracked, and curiously for a film about Christmas, is currently set for a summer 2014 release.
