Are Brad and Tom Le Mans?

Brad Pitt is being tipped to re-team with his Interview With The Vampire co-star Tom Cruise in the car-race drama Go Like Hell.

The film tracks American motor pioneer Henry Ford II's entry into European car racing, an arena dominated by the "science fiction on wheels" of Italian car designer Enzo Ferrari.

Ford, with the help of a visionary car builder Lee Iacocca and a former racing champion turned engineer, Carroll Shelby (Cruise), concocts a scheme to to beat the Italians at their own game at the legendary French Le Mans circuit.

The film is being directed by Joseph Kosinski (Oblivion) and is an adaptation of AJ Baime's book Go Like Hell: Ford, Ferrari and Their Battle for Speed and Glory at Le Mans.

Pitt, who can next be seen in 12 Years A Slave, was once attached to star when the project had director Michael Mann on board back in 2009.
