27 January 2014

As part of Empire’s birthday bash.

Bryan Singer is today revealing 25 new images from his upcoming X-Men prequel-sequel with Empire Magazine.

The esteemed film mag is celebrating its 25th anniversary, and it’s marking the occasion with 25 collector’s edition covers, each with a brand new and exclusive image from X-Men: Days of Future Past.

Singer announced the image dump via his Twitter feed.

“#XMen cast & I are exclusively revealing 25 @EmpireMagazine covers, one every hour, starting now. #Empire25”

The first image shows a huge blue sentinel being constructed. In the original Marvel comics, the Sentinels a huge mutant-hunting robots, programmed to locate and capture or kill mutants.

They’re briefly seen at the end of X-Men: The Last Stand but this is the first time they will take a major role in an X-Men movie.

More images from Singer’s Twitter feed, and X-Men cast members, will be released throughout the day.
