Once the go-to-man for shirtless posers in rom coms (and the occasional serious legal drama - still shirtless), Matthew McConaughey has been improving his CV of late.
Ever shirtless in Steven Soderbergh's Magic Mike, he has nonetheless been praised for his efforts in a film that turned out to be much, much more than just a few hot guys takig their clothes off (although that too), and he also recently wowed in the William Freidkin-directed Killer Joe.
And now McConaughey has signed up to play one of the biggest roles in Hollywood's hottest property in production, Martin Scorsese's The Wolf on Wall Street, opposite the lead Leonardo Di Caprio.
McConaughey will play Mark Hanna, Di Caprio's broker boss and mentor. Based on Jordan Belfort’s best-selling memoir The Wolf Of Wall Street, the film follows drug-addict young stockbroker Jordan, before he is indicted for money laundering - true story.
McConaughey will appear alongside Jonah Hill, Jean Dujardin, Rob Reiner and Kyle Chandler.
Only one question remains - will he take his shirt off?
