Joel for Child 44
Joel Kinnaman - who starred in the American TV version of The Killing - is set to join Tom Hardy and Noomi Rapace in the big screen adaptation of the thriller Child 44.
The novel, written by Tom Rob, follows a Moscow policeman and war hero who is under investigation by the KGB for anti-Soviet activity.
The only way he can clear his name is to solve a series of grisly serial killings...however to admit such a murderer is at liberty in a socialist paradise is strictly taboo.
Ridley Scott was originally attached as director but Safe House's Daniel Espinosa has now taken over.
Kinnaman can next be seen in the remake of the sci-fi thriller Robocop.
