Jingle All The Way 2 is on the cards

12 February 2014

Put That Cookie Down: The Sequel.

It’s the sequel we’ve all been waiting for, I guess: Jingle All The Way, the perennially popular 1996 Christmas caper which starred Arnold Schwarzenegger, is to get the sequel treatment.

Eighteen years after the original, 20th Century Fox have finally listened to the will of the people (or at least, fans of Youtube remixes) and have commissioned a follow-up film to the enjoyably naff festive classic.

Sadly, the Governator won’t be appearing again in arguably his most famous and admired role as mattress salesman Howard Langston. In his place will be comedian and redneck favourite Larry The Cable Guy, and, er, WWE wrestler Santino Marella.

Since the sequel is straight-to-DVD and there are no plans for a theatrical release, Jingle All The Way 2: Jingle Harder (our guess at the title) will soon be coming to a bargain basement near you come Christmas time.
