Professor X Expounds

With an extraordinary cast that seems to grow every week (Game Of Thrones' Peter Dinklage being the latest addition), hopes are splendidly high that director Bryan Singer can produce another worthy instalment to the X-Men franchise he began in 2000.

X-Men First ClassWith Patrick Stewart and Ian McKellen returning in a dual time narrative, James McAvoy, who plays the young Professor X, has admitted that he won't be sharing any screen time with his older self.

“It’d be cool, but I don’t think [Patrick Stewart and I] get any scenes together, sadly. I don’t think there’s any future self talking to past self.”

Of course, several of the returning cast members have confessed that they have signed on to Singer's film without seeing a finished script, so perhaps we may yet see a temporal talk between Professors.

Though Singer may not want to put all his X's in one basket.
