Legal disclaimer: we are not suggesting James Corden will actually kill your friends.
James Corden has signed up for a role in forthcoming British satire Kill Your Friends.
John Niven is adapting his own novel, which tells the story of a seedy coke-addicted A&R man during Britpop's late-90s zenith, for the screen.
Nicholas Hoult has already signed up to star as the lead.
Tom Riley, Georgia King, Craig Roberts and Edward Hogg will also join Hoult and Corden in the cast.
Niven tweeted a photo of the first table read and production meeting last week; shooting is due to begin later this month.
