League Of Their Own host signs on for festive flick
James Corden is set for festive flick School For Santas, according to reports.
The film, which is being lined up as a starring vehicle for the host of Sky1’s League Of Their Own, will see Corden play a down-on-his-luck dad who has to reconnect with his inner Santa to win back his kids and save Christmas.
The movie will re-team Corden with playwright Richard Bean who has signed on to produce the script.
The duo worked together earlier this year on the hit play One Man, Two Guvnors, where Corden’s performance drew critical acclaim and even landed him a Tony Award for Best Actor.
Since then the Gavin & Stacey star has started shooting alongside Keira Knightley and Mark Ruffalo in the upcoming comedy drama Can A Song Save Your Life?
He’s also signed on to play Britain’s Got Talent winner Paul Potts in a film about his life. Shooting is set to get underway in New York early next year and whilst a release date has yet to be set, you can all but guarantee the film will rear its festive head sometime near December of next year.
