Nick gets marching orders
Warm Bodies star Nicholas Hoult has been called up for the Iraqi war drama Sandcastle.
The British actor - who can also be seen in the upcoming X-Men: Days of Future Past - will play American grunt Matt Ocre, whose platoon is given the job of defending the farming village of Baqubah.
The script was written by Chris Roessner, a former soldier who spent more than two years and joined over 200 missions as a machine gunner in Iraq's Sunni Triangle.
Brit commercials director Seb Edwards, who has helmed advertising spots for Nike, Adidas and the Red Cross, will make his feature debut with the film.
Hoult has also appeared in the indie Kill Your Friends, Autobahn opposite Anthony Hopkins and Equals with Kristen Stewart.
