Director Francis Lawrence has signed on to helm the rest of The Hunger Games.
And like the Potter and Twilight franchises before it, the final instalment - Mockingjay - will be split into two parts.
Lawrence replaced Gary Ross on the set of the second part, Catching Fire, when the original director felt the production schedule for the remaining movies was too tight.
But Lawrence, who is shooting the new movie as we type, clearly feels capable of delivering three movies in the next three years.
Catching Fire will hit cinemas in November 2013, while The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 1 will arrive exactly a year later, and Part 2 in November 2015.
The next movie will see Katniss (Jennifer Lawrence) and Peeta (Josh Hutcherson) return to the fighting arena when the evil president Snow (Donald Sutherland) insists that the previous winners return for a smackdown.
Much of the original cast returns, including Woody Harrelson, Stanley Tucci, Liam Hemsworth and Elizabeth Banks.
New cast members include Philip Seymour Hoffman, Jena Malone, Amanda Plummer and Jeffrey Wright.
