Megan Fox has signed on to Michael Bay's forthcoming adaptation of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
Fox is being tipped to play news reporter, April O'Neil, in the movie which will feature fully CGI-ed Turtles. The news was announced in a Tweet from the official Turtles account; "We are bringing Fox back into the family".
Which is quite surprising, given the way things turned out for Fox on Transformers 3. After slagging off Bay and his crew, Fox was dumped from the movie to be replaced by cardboard's favourite model-cum-actress, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley.
The movie, to be titled Ninja Turtles, is set for a summer 2014 release, and is completely rebooting the story, which Bay insists will involve aliens rather than nuclear goop.
