Look what the Kat dragged in.
After an underwhelming summer of blockbusters, many film analysts believe the biggest film of the year may yet be the sequel to The Hunger Games. Expectations are that Catching Fire may break $1bn at the global box office.
Featuring the Coldplay track ‘Atlas’ written especially for the film, the spot should please fans who now only have 5 weeks to wait before the movie’s release.
The official synopsis for The Hunger Games: Catching Fire reads thus:
Katniss Everdeen has returned home safe after winning the 74th Annual Hunger Games along with fellow tribute Peeta Mellark. Winning means that they must turn around and leave their family and close friends, embarking on a "Victor's Tour' of the districts.
Along the way Katniss senses that a rebellion is simmering, but the Capitol is still very much in control as President Snow prepares the 75th Annual Hunger Games (The Quarter Quell) - a competition that could change Panem forever.
That the original Hunger Games film was a financial success came as no surprise. What was unexpected was quite how well made it was. It made the Twilight saga look anaemic in comparison.
Catching Fire looks to be in safe hands.
The Hunger Games catches fire from 21st November.
