First trailer for 22 Jump Street

17 December 2013

And it's not safe for work.

The first trailer for 22 Jump Street, the sequel to - yup - 21 Jump Street, has landed. And it's a 'red band' trailer, meaning it's for over 18s only.

The new film reunites Channing Tatum and Jonah Hill as the mishap-laden cops sent undercover. Having tackled a high school, this time the plucky pair infiltrate a college.

The trailer presents a solid retread of the first film's setpieces: outrageous gunfights and explosions counterpointed with heavy-drinking party scenes.

It also teases returning supporting stars, including Ice-T, Nick Offerman and Rob Riggle.

The film's official synopis runs thus:

"22 Jump Street follows officers Schmidt (Hill) and Jenko (Tatum) as they go deep undercover at a local college. But when Jenko meets a kindred spirit on the football team and Schmidt infiltrates the bohemian art major scene, they begin to question their partnership. In addition to cracking the case, the two freshmen must figure out if they can have a mature relationship like real men."

22 Jump Street is released in the UK on 6 June 2014.
