“They’re not 21 any more”
Here’s the very first poster for 22 Jump Street, the sequel, unsurprisingly, to 21 Jump Street.
Back in December we were given our first look at the comedy sequel with a filthy red-band teaser trailer.
The new film reunites Channing Tatum and Jonah Hill as the mishap-laden cops sent undercover. Having tackled a high school, this time the plucky pair infiltrate a college.
The trailer presents a solid retread of the first film's setpieces: outrageous gunfights and explosions counterpointed with heavy-drinking party scenes.
It also teases returning supporting stars, including Ice-T, Nick Offerman and Rob Riggle.
The film's official synopis runs thus:
"22 Jump Street follows officers Schmidt (Hill) and Jenko (Tatum) as they go deep undercover at a local college. But when Jenko meets a kindred spirit on the football team and Schmidt infiltrates the bohemian art major scene, they begin to question their partnership. In addition to cracking the case, the two freshmen must figure out if they can have a mature relationship like real men."
22 Jump Street is released in the UK on 6th June 2014.
