Second directing effort from 50% of Brangelina.
The first trailer for Unbroken, the new directorial project from Angelina Jolie, has arrived.
The three-minute trailer for the historical sports drama debuted, appropriately enough, during NBC’s coverage of the Winter Olympics in Sochi, and narrated by veteran NBC presenter Tom Brokaw.
The story, based on the best-selling book, details the true story of Louis Zamperini, the Olympic athlete who is captured by the Japanese Imperial Army in World War II and forced into a prisoner-of-war camp.
It’s the second film from Angelina Jolie, following 2011’s In The Land of Blood And Honey.
Jack O’Connell, Garrett Hedlund, Domhnall Gleeson, and Jai Courtney feature in the cast.
The real-life Zamperini, now 97, appears briefly at the end of the teaser.
Unbroken is released later this year.
