With first footage of the Green Goblin.
Here’s the very final theatrical trailer for The Amazing Spider-Man 2, the forthcoming sequel to 2012’s The Amazing Spider-Man.
It’s been a veritable publicity juggernaut over the last few weeks and months as Sony have pumped all their marketing might into what could be the biggest blockbuster of the year. We’ve actually lost count of the number of trailers, TV spots and still released for this.
Still, they’ve managed to find some new footage for this promo, which focuses more heavily on Harry Osborn (Dane DeHann) and his evolution into the New Green Goblin.
The trailer shows that Peter Parker (Andrew Garfield) and Harry have not seen each other for ten years, suggesting that the original Green Goblin, Harry’s father Norman, is no longer around.
There’s also a brief glimpse at Osborn and Electro (Jamie Foxx) teaming up, plus Paul Giamatti’s Rhino.
Emma Stone, Sally Field and Campbell Scott also star.
The Amazing Spider-Man 2 swings into cinemas on 18th April, 2014.
