Speed sequel production put back
The release of Fast & Furious 7 has been put back year to April 2015 following the death of Paul Walker.
Universal announced it was shifting the high speed sequel from July 11, 2014, to Friday, April 10, 2015 after the star's death forced a delay in production.
The announcement confirms that the studio will proceed the race car franchise, which stars Vin Diesel and is being direted by James Wan (who takes over from Justin Lin).
Diesel posted on Facebook that Walker will be in the film and described the last scene he filmed having "a unique sense of completion, of pride we shared… in the film we were now completing… the magic captured…"
