Director posts clapperboard photo.
The latest instalment in the long-running Fast & Furious series has started shooting again, following a long hiatus brought about by the tragic death of star Paul Walker.
Walker died last year in a car crash, aged 40. His death prompted a hasty script rewrite as the filmmakers determined how best to give the character and the actor an "honourable send-off".
Director James Wan posted an image of the film's clapperboard on his Instagram account.
Most of Walker's scenes had already been filmed, but it was rumoured that CGI and body doubles might help complete his story.
Following this several-month-long delay, Fast & Furious 7 is now set to be released in April 2015, a little later than its original 2014 release date.
