It is Ant-MAN, not Ant-Lady, and that is a scientific fact!
We already know of two Ant Men to star in Edgar Wright’s Ant-Man adaptation, but now we may have an Ant-Lady: Evangeline Lilly is being lined up to play the female lead in the new Marvel film.
The star of Lost and The Hobbit is currently in talks to play an unspecified and possibly non-canon role, according to Variety.
Only two cast members have been confirmed: Scott Lang is to be played by Paul Rudd, while Michael Douglas will be playing Henry Pym, the original Ant-Man.
Some reports suggest Lilly would play the love interest of Scott Lang, and the daughter of Pym, though this character never appeared in the original Marvel comics.
Production is set to begin in April, with a release slated for the chockablock calendar of summer 2015.
